Acorn collection action
On December 31, 2021, our young team visited the park near the University of Montenegro to collect acorns. This is the third year in a row that our organization has finished the year with this activity, with our now experienced collectors inspecting each acorn. Sufficient specimens were collected for seedlings and for donation to ecological sections.
This activity is carried out as part of the program “Nature for the physical and mental health of young people” implemented by the NGO Naša Akcija and financed through the institutional support of the European Endowment for Democracy, with the aim of activating as many young people as possible to spend their free time in nature, thereby preserving not only their health but also learn to love and respect their country.
