Cleaning campaign for Earth Day, 16.04.2022

Today, a young team of volunteers from Our Action, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tivat and the Tivat Youth Team, went to the location of the parish in Tivat on the occasion of Earth Day. With the support of the Tivat Municipal Company, DVD Tivat and the Protection Service, we cleaned the entire coast of this location from plastic waste, and then cleaned the path and the approach part of the park from trees felled by leeches that spent the winter there. There was a lot of work, although a large part was cleaned, another action is planned in May, in order to finish the activity, which was of a very large scale. We thank all volunteers and services! A wonderful but very difficult action that we successfully overcame with our joint efforts.

The young people of the NGO Naša Akcija and the Tivat Youth Team had the opportunity to learn about many life experiences, as well as to hang out with the famous handball players, Sonja Barjaktarović and Marija Jovanović, in the premises of the Kotor Youth Club. The workshop on the topic “From handball to entrepreneurship” gave young people the opportunity to learn more about handball, the role of sports in life and business, and many other interesting topics. We sincerely thank our lionesses for their time and desire for our youth to be successful in their further life journey.💛❤️

And there was more than agriculture and more than a workshop!
On Tuesday, we talked about agriculture, animal husbandry, recognition of product quality, the impact of GMOs on the population, and other related topics. In the end, we came to the conclusion that in the future we will organize more workshops on agriculture and in general on plants and animals, especially on autochthonous species. We owe a big thank you to our guest Mirjana Đundić for her generous time and the educational presentation she prepared.

Cleaning action of Cape Ratac

On Sunday, March 27, NGO Naša action with its colleagues from @omladinski_tim_tivat marked Water Day with an action to clean the coast and pine forest at the location Rt. A warrior. We chose this location because of the rather large amount of waste that has been neglected for months. Our email itself seemed to be motivated by the Bar utility company, which cleaned the landfill, which has been located in the forest for 4 months. In addition, our team collected additional large amounts of waste, mostly plastic packaging. The NGO Info Sport CG, the oldest volunteer of Bar, Mr. Miodrag Banović, who showed by his example that it is never too late to be a volunteer, as well as the Đurišić family from Bar, joined the action. We are always grateful when citizens join the activities.
In addition to the cleaning operation, we visited the cultural and historical heritage of the monastery of St. Mary Ratačka as well as the Mogren fortress in Budva. Of course, this action is intertwined with a lot of fun with the guitar, spring swimming, jumping off the rocks and the socializing of 30 young people from Kotor, Tivat, Podgorica, Cetinje and Budva.
This activity is realized through the Nature program for the mental and physical health of young people, financed by the European Endowment for Democracy. We are also grateful for the support of TO Bar and Morski Dobr, who supported us in the realization of this activity. Rt. Ratac is clean, let him stay that way!

Activities in the Urban Garden do not only concern planting, but also landscaping, adding greenhouses, landscaping paths and similar things. The young people are very skilled with tools and Saturday passed in the best possible order, although we are tired at the end of the day, we are very satisfied with what we have done!💛

An evening of fascinating chemistry, Kotor, 23.03

Last night we successfully held an evening of interesting chemistry in the premises of the Youth Club in Kotor! We did the following experiments: artificial blood, lava lamp, we also did the happy rice experiment, the chemical traffic light, obtaining hydrogen, obtaining carbon dioxide, determining the pH of the environment, artificial snow and many others! We would like to thank Dejan for showing us this very important science in an interesting way!

Extreme Wolf Race 2022 Montenegro

On Saturday, March 19, NGO Naša Akcija together with @omladinski_tim_tivat went to Gornja Lastva for the K4 race to help secure the track for young competitors. According to our standard volunteer model for actions, there was work-education and fun. After working on the track, the young people had the opportunity to climb Sveti Vid, visit the village of Gornja Lastva, as well as the mill that was arranged by the previous generation of young people from the NGO Our Action. At the end, there was also a quad bike ride in the countryside. We thank the organizers for a wonderful event and a fulfilling day. This activity is supported by the European Endowment for Democracy as part of the program Nature for the mental and physical health of young people.
