By cleaning the coast, Bigova marked the International Day of Coast Cleaning! ?
.
The NGO Naša akcija together with a team of students from the Arcadia school and the locals of Bigova today marked the International Day of Cleaning the Coast of this small fishing village. With the team work of participants and locals who met for the first time, and enthusiastically cooperated, 40 bags of 120 liters of waste were collected, of course most of the plastic packaging, a total of 225 kg!
The International Clean Coast Day is organized by @ zero.waste.montenegro in cooperation with @nvo_nasa_akcija, and under the auspices of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, the Ministry of Ecology, Urbanism and Spatial Planning, the EU Info Center, Beyond Plastic, the MED Association and the Prince Albert II Foundation, through project “Youth for a clean Adriatic”. At the local level, as every year so far, the action is supported by the Tourist Organization of Kotor and the Utility Company Kotor.
“We thank everyone who came out to meet us and helped us to mark this day, and leave this wonderful place for swimming in a beautiful condition. We appeal to the Utility Company Kotor to return the container that was in this location until 2019 and thus perhaps motivate bathers and other visitors to dispose of waste at an appropriate location. ” says the Organizational Manager of the NGO Naša akcija Vuk Koljenšić.

Workshop: Healthy relationships

Through the “Life Skills” program funded by the European Endowment for Democracy, the NGO Naša akcija, in cooperation with the NGO Prima, held a workshop on “Healthy Relationships” for the youth of Kotor and Tivat at the Youth Club Kotor.
The workshop focused on issues such as:
Is this love or fear of loneliness?
How do I know he loves me, and how do I know if he loves me too?
What is ok and what is not ok in a relationship?
How do I show love and does the loved one experience it that way?
Is my partner showing me love in the right way?
Your I in a relationship
Love is also belonging, where should individuality be preserved? i
Do you distinguish love from possessiveness?

In addition to the workshop, this activity provided an opportunity for young people from Tivat to visit and see the Kotor Youth Club and socialize with their peers in the area. For young people, mobility, socializing and exchanges are rare in this age of pandemics, but the possibility of connecting young people in this way in the Youth Spaces is a real opportunity that our NGOs plan to continue to use.
